Xbox Elite core 2 controller won't use profiles?

Hello all, I have searched and found some people with similar issues and no fix. Hopefully someone will know what to do. Currently my elite controller will not use any profiles on my series X. I've wiped the console, I've updated things, tried every setting you can imagine but once I'm done making my profile it doesn't stick to the controller. Making the feature of the controller mapping absolutely useless. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Sorry for the late response. I don't currently have a PC to use so I'm out of luck there. I have tried every setting within the accessories app and every combination to no avail. I tried resetting the Xbox as well to no avail. The controller worked just fine and has continue to do so except for profiles(they worked initially).

I understand, if you already tried the console reset and it didn't work, you need to identify if the same thing happens to you on a PC when you get the chance, as this might help identify where the problem really is.

This report does not receive feedback, it is for Microsoft engineers to identify if there is a problem with the app or some actualization.

I'm a Independent Advisor. I will be glad to help you.

Connect it to a PC via USB cable and check if when configuring it in the Xbox Accessories app you get exactly the same as on consoles.

If it allows you to save any profile without problem, try this process:

Go to Settings>System>Console Information

And restart keeping your games.

Note that the console accounts will be removed, so you will need to have the email and password for each account to log back in.

Your progress, achievements, purchases and other data will remain intact, don't worry about that, you won't lose any data, the only thing you need to do is to log in again.

Well no elite controllers 2 were out for the past 2 years

If you mean the elite 2 core yes that was just released this year

The difference is elite 2 have the charging case and accessories like thumb pads etc

The core is the budget without the charger or accessories

And 14 day codes can't be used on previously subscribed accounts you get free 1 month anyways for a dollar

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

We won't be able to provide proof that the grips won't peel off as that would be impossible since everyone grips their controller differently, but all we can say is that the series 2 Elite controller was improved with every previous feature in mind and that
includes the rubberized grips, as they now wrap around all the way to the top of the controller.

There won't be any discounts for owning the original Elite controller.
