Xbox Elite Controllers

First off I would like to start off saying I've been a user of the elite controllers since 2016. Video games are a big part of my life and I often find myself to prefer controller over mouse and keyboard in most games I play. In the market of controllers, I consider the Xbox elite controllers to be the one the highest quality controllers you can buy. I've personally bought over 7 since 2016 and this wasn't by choice unfortunately. It doesn't matter how good of condition I would try to keep my controllers, they all would have the same fate. I do play some 8-12 hour sessions with my controller so It is to be expected they can't last forever. After 4-8 months my controllers would all break the same way, the connection port. I typically use my controllers with a wired connection in most competitive games for the advantage it gives you. Bluetooth connection is good and has most definitely improved from the series 1 too the series 2 but It still isn't reliable enough to use in competitive games in my opinion and I think others would agree. I've tired other brands but the quality is much worse than Xbox, usually swaying me back to the elite controllers every time. I purchased my most recent Elite series 2 In January, just recently It broke the same way as all my others. This is my third Elite series 2 and I think Xbox drastically improved multiple components of the elite with the new series. Specifically the switch from a micro usb to a Type-c usb. I thought this would help with my common reoccurring issues on these controllers but I still haven't seen the long term quality I'm looking for. I recommend anyone buying a elite series 2 considers this issue from my past experiences. I'm currently looking at 4 elites on my desk 3 of them being series 2 and sadly they're all unusable. I've tried buying new Type-c cables even from Microsoft to help fix the issue but the controllers wont connect to my Xbox or pc no matter what I try. I even have tried Bluetooth the most common method of connection but It would only fail after faster button usage.

I've just ordered my eighth elite from amazon and I'm sad because I know just after a few short months I'll be faced with the same problem again.

I'm not asking for a warranty or a new controller on here. Just wanted to voice my opinion and personal experiences on these controllers from someone whose used them for years and I'm hoping they can work on this issue in future controllers.

Other than that If your an average or even competitive controller gamer this controller is very high quality and you cannon find anything else like it on market right now I guarantee you.
