    Xbox Elite Controller. Severe issues on a £130 controller!!


    I have had my elite controller just over 2 years, initially i thought the controller was great, feels great, nice options for the shortened triggers etc.

    However just after the warranty expired (typically) the left bumper button broke, then the B button started sticking, then it developed an upward drift on the left thumbstick, and now last week the rubber grip started pealing away!!!

    I only get the chance to play for a few hours here and there as i have a small child, so the number of issues i have had with this controller are ridiculous for a premium product. When i look online i find many people having the same or similar issues and
    when i contact Microsoft all I get is its out of warranty, which i do understand but when you are paying so much for a controller it should not have so many defects.

    I now cant play my xbox properly as this renders most game unplayable (my secondary standard controller has an updrift on the right stick)

    I have been an avid xbox owner, and have had every console since the first xbox came out but i think I might be moving over to playstaion for the next gen.

    Which is sad.

    So are they going to fix those elite 2 controllers or not?

    I've seen several issues with both version's of the elite controller.

    Was there any option for you on a refund?

    Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects to Samsung frame TV, but does not work to control any functions on screen

    I have the same issue:

    * the plain Xbox controller (non elite) connects via bluetooth to the TV and is recognised by the Xbox cloud app on my Samsung TV. I can use it to play games using the Samsung Xbox app.

    * the brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects via bluetooth to the TV and is NOT recognised by the Xbox cloud app.

    I tried several attempts deleting the pairing, re-pairing. Turn off TV on the power switch. Re-installing the Xbox app on the Samsung TV.

    The result is always the same:

    * The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects successfully to the TV and is shown as Paired and Connected in the Samsung TVs feature where you add external devices.
    * But the Xbox app shows the yellow ! exclamation mark and does not recognise the Elite Controller.

    I’ve paired my other non Elite standard Xbox controller now vie Bluetooth and USB, which works both.

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    Instability when more than 1 Xbox One Controller is connected

    I'm getting instability with just one Xbox One controller connected, either wirelessly or wired. The two games it's affecting me on - Automobalista and rFactor - slow to a crawl and are unplayable with the Xbox One controller connected, but as soon as I
    unplug it/turn it off the game returns to normal speed.

    Some are suggesting it started happening with the KB3140743 update. Please Microsoft, try to fix this. I just laid down £130 for an Elite controller and I can't even use it.

    Yeah, it really sucks that the store is having all these issues. On top of all this, I now have a controller issue on live recently. My Xbox one x and one s stop synching with controllers at random times and I've looked on reddit xbox forums and it's
    a big issue for several people. When your playing a game online with a brand new elite series 2 controller and get kicked out of game because of xbox live issues it sucks real bad....
