XBOX ELITE CONTROLLER SERIES 2 SERVICE PROCEDURE

Hello, I own a faulty xbox elite series 2 controller ( the A button does not work properly). I want to send it in for repair but I cannot find a way to do it online.I followed all the online instructions from ms account page/devices/submit an online repair
and it does not load at all (used different devices and internet browsers with no luck), also from https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/controllers/wireless-controller-solution STEP
6 Request an Xbox controller replacement where I put my serial No and is unrecognizable. (The device is added correctly in my account with the same serial No).

I am starting to believe that Microsoft does this on purpose. Have been searching all weekend in forums about faulty elite controllers (the failure rate is unbelievable high and everyone is having a hard time finding a solution. Even at the retail store
where I bought the controller said that they are not responsible for the warranty of the product and that I should contact Microsoft myself if anything goes wrong. Unfortunately I did not get the "message" underlying in the seller's words until I had already
made the purchase. Microsoft does not respect their clients. They try so hard cutting downs costs on HR and customer support. Too bad because I am (was I guess) a supporter on the XBOX brand since day one of 1st gen. I even overlooked the XBOX360 RROD problem
and bought 3 consoles.

Anyway... Any suggestions about my issue?

Where did you buy it. Sometimes the retailer will also provide a warranty. If not they will sometimes allow trade for store credit like gamestop. I'm sorry for your inconvenience. Have a great day

Indeed, I got in touch with Xbox Support and M. was very helpful above expectations I have to say... He initiated a replacement procedure for my controller and left no questions unanswered. Well, even though it is depressing to see high value / top class
(as promoted) products to be defective out of the box (Microsoft should put more effort in quality control/testing) I will not give up my support /faith yet. I understand that the R&D and manufacturing procedure is not something simple but please Microsoft,
it is not bad to have less\minimal profit in some products so that you can give us top AAA Diamond Crystal Quality in them. XBOX Elite Controller deserves to be there.

Hope you can help, i'm in the same boat with me Faulty Elite Controller2 which i've only had just over a month. I purchased it from Very, should i look at replacing it with themselves?

I'm surprised to hear that many series 2 elite controllers are having issues and faults already at this point.

If you live in the UK I know that retailers have to assist you for the first year after purchasing a product to sort out issues relating to manufacturing defects (so long as you still have proof of purchase), if you are from the UK or a place with similar
laws then I would suggest contacting the customer support of the shop it was purchased from

If you can't do that for whatever reason then it's time to contact Microsoft's customer support team (while logged into your account).

I hope it all gets resolved soon!
