    XBox Elite Controller (series 2) out of warranty


    I have an Elite series 2 controller that is out of warranty that I would like to get repaired if possible. Does Microsoft do this?? The glue on the grips has come loose and they slip. Additionally the mounting clips have broken loose and are rattling around inside the controller. This also means that the top and bottom halves are separating. So if these repairs can be made I’d prefer that to getting a whole new controller.

    They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

    Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam
