Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 keeps disconnecting from BT and usb when playing games.

So when I am playing games like Apex, Borderlands, God of War or any others, the elite controller will connect in the beginning and as I play the game, the game will lag, and the controller disconnects. This is via bluetooth. I have also tried plugging the controller in and while it lasts a few minutes longer, it still disconnects and needs to be reconnected.

Sometimes it reconnects afterwards by itself but most times I have to turn the controller off and turn it back on.

For some games likes Borderlands, it happens every 2 minutes so its impossible to play with a controller on it.

I have all the drivers updated on it, same with my PC. Everything is up to date but no matter what game I play, it keeps lagging the game before it disconnects.

I have also tried on other PC's and laptops to see if this issue is occurring and it still is.

Any help on this would be great, otherwise if it can't be resolved I will just return this controller.
