    Xbox Elite controller series 2 - Bluetooth issue


    I
    got this controller for our HTPC in the living room so we don't have a
    long cable in our way. Connecting to Bluetooth was straightforward and
    according to the Xbox accessories app on Windows it connected
    successfully via Bluetooth. When i try to play a game using the
    controller, there's barely any input if there is some at all. the
    controller does not work. If I use the USB cable, it works flawlessly. I
    contacted the Microsoft support for this controller and tried
    everything they say on the website from updating drivers, updating
    windows, and updating the controller itself.

    So
    in the end, i chose to go via the controller replacement option. I
    shipped the controller to Microsoft and now today, I just received the
    replacement. Guess what? Its still having the same issue. Bluetooth is
    unusable. I redid the steps from the support page with no luck.

    Does anyone have any ideas about this? Is there a way I can contact Microsoft support directly without going through a whole bunch of nonsense troubleshooting?

    the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.

    The elite series one controller never had Bluetooth so you would've received exactly what you ordered if you need Bluetooth you need a new edition standard controller or an elite series 2
