Xbox Elite Controller Scam

I came across an add on Instagram for a sale on an Elite controller from supposedly Xbox themselves. It seemed real so I purchased one and after doing so, received no email of confirmation or anything. It has been a few weeks now and nothing has come up.

Has anyone else had this issue? It was apparently purchesed through “GenesisTechno” and after multiple emails to them I’ve had no response. I am convinced it is a scam. Should I be reporting this to Xbox?
