xbox elite controller?! really? three and still not working

Well, it's working and i can play in games with Elite Controller, but app still can't find it. I'm really hope, that it's a bug.

Thanks for posting an update. Continued fiddling on the software side but still really only works correctly as a wired controller.

Had friends get regular Xbox controllers (non elite) at the same time and they’ve had no issues. Thinking the best course of action will be to return the elite and pick up a standard. 1/3 the price and works like it should!

Disappointing for sure. I really liked the feel, build quality, and adaptability…. But if the software doesn’t work then what’s the point!

I'm really hoping we'll get to see a new Elite controller in just a few days at the Xbox E3 Press Conference! But I could also see them holding off until the launch of the new Xbox sometime next year.

I'm on my second Elite controller, btw. My first one lasted over three years and never had an issues. They only reason I replaced it was because the grips on the back had literally worn off from so much use. But now I have the all-white Elite controller.
It's gorgeous! And it works just as well as my first one did.

I think your just unlucky I have three controllers the one that came with my one x a recon tech and an elite controller. All are working fine and the newest is almost a year old, I use the elite mainly and play almost daily.

I bought mine in Nov. 2019. didn't really use it much until January.

First in February, kept losing Bluetooth connection.

Then a little stick drift.

The next week, LB worked on and off.

Then, the drift was really bad.

I would have taken it back to best buy but this stupid virus hit.

Now it just sits there, 180.00 paperweight.

while my old controllers all still work.

This is the first piece of hardware for xbox that busted, no, really.

I own...

three 360's (with four controllers and one kinect for those)

two xbox one's _with one kinect for them)

one xbox one s

one xbox one x

- 4 og style black controllers

- 2 camo controllers

- 1 white controller

- 1 blue/grey accent grip controller

- two headsets

They all still work great.

oh and, drawers of games as well as my new Game Pass account.

and now i also own one broken elite series 2.

I will buy the series x when it is released, but i wish i could get a trade in discount for the bad series 2 controller.
