Xbox elite controller rb is loose and comes off

I heard theh still fix this since its so common, is this true? Even when it's out of warranty

hi i have a elite controller and the rubber handgrips are leting loose again. 2time 1ste rep was last summer. and now the rb button is letting loose to. in the past i use the xbox suport chat fore the rep. but thats now close. no idea were to go for the

Xbox Elite controller repair

My Xbox one elite controller has an issue. the comfortable backing is insecure and it slowly coming loose and is now uncomfortable and Will come off soon. Will this be covered by my warrenty and get repaired?

I had problems with my analog stick becoming loose, good tip buy your elite controller from a game.co.uk local store and get the 2 year warrenty for an extra £25 and if anything goes wrong they will exchange it for a new one right there and then in the shop,
make sure to keep your box and all accesories as they will need them so they can get it fixed and sell it second hand and you get a brand new one so happy days.

maybe not the response you was looking for someone telling you to buy a new one but thought id let you know incase you decided to upgrade to the Elite 2 in the future

You're right, not really the response I was looking for but thankyou anyways.

when the new one was announced, I just thought pffft. That's what the latest releases have made me feel.

My Elite controller grip is also coming loose. It seems to be pulling out from the seam behind the right trigger. This is the fourth controller I've had to buy and given the price, had hoped it would be the last. I was in contact with a Microsoft support
representative about the initial controller drift issues 3 years ago and the communication abruptly cut off after they had offered to replace my controller. The Xbox One Elite Controller was announced not long after that.

I don't know where is the "elite" on a controller with so many flaws. My elite controller rubber grips become loose and are opened. I am a casual gamer and take excellent care of my stuff. It looks more like its a manufacturing flaw. We will know for sure
if their engineering team fixed this when they launch the new Xbox One S which comes with a controller that features rubber grips same as the elite.
