    Xbox Elite Controller - Not Charging - PC


    My Xbox Elite Controller will not connect to my PC - through bluetooth or wired.

    The wired connection was working, but it seems that the wire is fine, but the port on the xbox elite is messed up. If you push harder than should be necessary the controller will connect. I purchased this controller back in July of 2019.

    Not sure if there is an easy fix or if I need to send it back for inspection.

    Hi,

    All Xbox controllers are designed to work wired or wireless on console and PC. So yes, the USB C cable for the Elite should send data, not just charge the battery.

    console so that you may use it in a wired capacity.
