    Xbox Elite Controller Issues


    Had issues with my previous Xbox Elite Controller and sent it in.

    Just got my replacement and I'm already having problems with it.

    When I go to the Xbox Accessories App the controller says it's Firmware Version: 2.3.2388.0 and there is no update available, but the controller is acting like it isn't updated (not going all the way diagonally)

    Is there a way to reset the controller and update it again? Or fix the diagonal issue? or am I going to have to send this controller back as well and just hope for one that works correctly?

    When I first got my Xbox Elite Controller I loved it, then the rubber grips started to fall off and I sent it in to get replaced.

    I really wish I hadn't because it's replacement's left stick started acting up shortly after I got it, and it's replacement has issues right out of the gate...

    Xbox Elite controller issues

    I purchased 2 elite controllers about a year and a half ago from best buy with their extended warranty. With in this year and a half I am now on my 7th time returning the one of the controllers for not functioning. This latest time the headset port stopped
    working. Every controller I purchase ends up with the analog sticks becoming loose and wobly or one of the bumpers stops working. Called into Xbox and rep told me it's wear and tear. (The latest controller i exchanged is less then 60 days old.) The same rep
    also told me there are no complaints regarding the elite controllers although I see them here and else where in the internet. I asked if they read the forums and rep advised that is not his job and if I have a complaint to go to a Microsoft store then disconnected
    the call. Nice way to treat a customer who has 4 Xboxes, 2 elite controllers, 4 Microsoft stereo headsets and subscriptions to Xbox live.

    something similar is happening to me, my Xbox elite controller, that i bought less than one month ago!!!, have failures with the analog sticks, the sticks dont work correctely, i cant understand how a 150 dolars controller have this problems.

    Oddly enough I fixed the Issue by taking the battery pack out, connecting the controller via USB cable to the Xbox One and leaving it there for 15 minutes.

    Now the controller seems to be working correctly.

    Xbox Elite wireless controller series 2 bluetooth problem!

    Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.

    Xbox Elite or Scuf?

    I would recommend the standard Xbox One controller, I had same issue with my Elite controller. Also check and see if your Elite controller is still under warranty.

    series 2 electrical shocks (not static electricity)

    I can confirm that the Xbox Elite 2 controller has issues with conducting electricity through the paddles.

    I am getting shocked as well.

    The Xbox Elite 2 controller needs to be recalled immediately.
