Xbox elite controller grip is comeing apart from the controller

My elite controller grip is falling off and obviously hasn't been made to withstand use or is faulty since Xbox / Microsoft are manufacturers of this product I expect a full replacement as the fault lies with Microsoft and the manufacturing of components
or design department and obviously mastakes made in makeing this product and to make is clean it's the controller not the case I have seen a older post on the same matter and read up the customer was also lie to so don't even think about given me bs I will
take matters further to ombudsman service and relevant tradeing standards if I must

elite controller handle grip coming off

Hi Killa MikeTitan,

Sorry the grip is coming off your Elite controller. Unfortunately Xbox accessories only have a 90 day warranty, and this includes the Elite controller. If you did purchase on day one, then the warranty would be expired. Your only option would be to replace
the controller, or try to use an adhesive to get the grip to stick back down.

Worth waiting for XBOX Elite?

you should wait for Elite the better controller is worth it (assuming it wont suffer from the same issues the controllers out now have)

I have bought 4 controllers for multiplayer in the past month all have issues. The armed forces right d-pad skips, 2 of the regular black ones the right d-pad only works if you press hard on it and one regular black one has a sticky A button. The controller that came with my Xbox the grip pieces came loose I took it apart put new tighter screws in and super glued the pieces back on, now its nice and tight.

I am going to get an Elite controller hopefully it saves my Xbox or I am selling it if the Elite controller has issues.

Here is the info on getting the elite Controller serviced.
Servicing your Xbox Elite Controller You will put in a service request
here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices
under your console. Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Elite Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.

The grips come apart from the controller, the bumpers break easily, the wiggle in the joysticks.... these "elite" controllers are budget built pieces of ****. Typical microsoft. build something nice out of cheap components and then OOPS YOUR WARRANTY IS UP

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it would seem you'd like to check out our controllers for rubberized grips. In regards to the new white Xbox Elite Controller not having rubberized grips I will have to say that I looked into the matter and
on our website it does state that it comes with rubber grips. Here is a link to that cool looking new

I don't know where is the "elite" on a controller with so many flaws. My elite controller rubber grips become loose and are opened. I am a casual gamer and take excellent care of my stuff. It looks more like its a manufacturing flaw. We will know for sure
if their engineering team fixed this when they launch the new Xbox One S which comes with a controller that features rubber grips same as the elite.
