Xbox Elite Controller Falling Apart

Hi there.

I purchased the Xbox Elite controller a few of years back, a year or so ago my controller broke. Xbox replaced it promptly and it was resolved quickly.

The first replacement lasted six months, maybe less. Then it was replaced. Now, maybe just over six months since receiving my SECOND replacement, the grip on both sides is falling off. Completely warped and is getting worse day by day. If this was a standard
controller, sure, but this is an Elite controller, designed for the more 'hardcore' console gamers, and it's simply falling apart.

I have reached out on Twitter to try and resolve this matter, but have had no luck.

I feel like two replacements dying so quickly is not a coincidence, and it makes me wonder if the replacement controllers that are sent out are refurbished controllers that are sent in under warranty. Feeling extremely underwhelmed about all of this, and
would love for this to be resolved.

Elite controller falling apart

I have an Xbox elite controller from around launch time about 4 months after owning it the rubber grips started to bubble. I contacted support and they told me they could do nothing for me because I was out of warranty. Fast forward a year later and one
of my joysticks started acting funny getting loose and doing the wander I've heard so many complain about. I called back again and still no help I'm out of warranty and Xbox no help. despite the fact I bought their elite system brand new for 500.00 and spent
countless on their games and Xbox gold membership. Now we reach present day i'm reading online that somewhere around the start or Mid of 2017 they extended the elite controller warranty. It's now march of 2018 and I call back yet again wondering why I hadn't
received notification of this extension. I was then told they still could do nothing for me and when asked to speak to a supervisor i was met with ever excuse not to let me. This is horrible all I want to do is play my games with my elite controller and not
have it falling apart in my hands if anyone out there from the world of Microsoft or Xbox reads this please help me this issue has been going on a long time this isn't how you treat good customers.

 

Controller falling apart

I had this issue as well i just sent my controller off this saturday, when i tracked my package the fullfillment center recieved it today. When i called to set up the repair i got a free code for a 1 year xbox live. So i am waiting on my replacement to ship
back to me.
