    XBox Elite Controller Button Mapping


    Love the controller, but I would love to have button sequencing. What I expected when pre-purchasing the controller is that I'd be able to map out sequence. For example; I love to play Smite, and to call missing opponents for our teammates is a three-button
    sequence. The sequence for "Enemy Missing Middle" is as follows: Left on D-Pad, then B, and then Y. Would it be possible to be able for me to assign that sequence on any of the four undercarriage triggers in the near future? It would be of great assistance
    for those of us that have the additional buttons, but unable to customize them the way we would like to.

    Elite Controller button mapping

    Hello,

    There needs to be an update for elite controller button mapping to allow direct binding of paddles, instead of having to bind them to the existing standard buttons.

    How do I remap controller buttons for only one game?

    Are you using a regular controller or an Elite controller. You can have two different button mapping profiles on the elite and switch between them with the switch on the controller.

    I don't think the triggers can be re-mapped because they are pressure sensitive.

    You could update the firmware on your controller by using a cable to connect it to the xbox and going into settings, or if you're using an elite controller, check your button mappings.

    I have mapped buttons to the paddles with no issues at all, with the new elite controller you can now map TV functions such as volume up and down to the controller
