Xbox elite controller 2 won't turn on

Kindly try to plug in the controller on your PC or Xbox directly using a USB cable.

If that didn’t work it may mean that the controller needs to be repaired. You can create a repair order by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices.

Turns out, the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller needed to be replaced.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

We won't be able to provide proof that the grips won't peel off as that would be impossible since everyone grips their controller differently, but all we can say is that the series 2 Elite controller was improved with every previous feature in mind and that
includes the rubberized grips, as they now wrap around all the way to the top of the controller.

There won't be any discounts for owning the original Elite controller.

hi my elite 2 controller don't respond anymore.

not one button, stick or paddles work but the controller is "on"= "home button" has light on...

i can't turn the controller off

when i open the accessories app there is only my standard controller displayed.

connecting to xbox with usb cable doing nothing

when i put them in the case: no "vibration"

on the elite 1 you can simply remove the battery but on elite 2 it's impossible.

is there a trick to turn the controller off and on?

Absolutely and you won't be disappointed. I have both the Elite 1 and 2 controllers and love them! Especially the Elite 2 which has made some great improvements to its predecessor.
