Xbox elite controller 1 not 'working' properly

    Xbox elite controller 1 not 'working' properly


    When I power my controller up xbox/pc it thinks the right trigger is active, In the Xbox accessories test function all the other buttons work apart from RT which it thinks is permanently active unless I press and hold left stick in then the right trigger
    will operate as normal until I either let go of L3 or move the stick in any direction. Any ideas would be great don't fancy buying a new one if I can fix it Xbox elite controller 1 not 'working' properly :)

    Microsoft should improve their Xbox One Controllers via quality

    I agree, the only controller I have that works properly is my elite. All the controllers I have either have triggers that don't work right or the left thumb stick wont work in the up position.

    Xbox elite 2 controller doesn’t turn on

    1. My controller wont turn on at all for any of the games on my pc

    2.It was working perfectly but now (as i said) wont turn on after not using it for maybe 3 days.

    3.The usb-c cable is connected properly

    4.the controller dosent have batteries (its an xbox elite controller) and when i put the controller on the charger nothing happens.

    My controller also dosent turn on at all so i cant check if it needs updated.

    THis could be caused by using the 3.5mm jack on the bottom of the controller. Do you have a stereo adaptor for your TB's by chance?
