XBOX Elite controler PC Problem Forward/Backward

If the same issue happens on the console, then sadly, it seems to be an issue with the controller.

Sadly, your controller needs repair.

I don't use my console, so everything is PC based. All games are installed and not cloud based either. I also just noticed that it does the continuous inputs on menus in WIndows. I went to shut my PC down the other night and when I mouse clicked on the start button the selection scrolled to the top. When I tried to click on the power icon it would jump down but immediately run back to the top of the menu.

Hello again, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11.

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Hello PatrickBrownlow, you only play on PC, or also play on the console, is this happening in the games you install or are playing by XCloud?

And as mentioned, the problem is not happening with Microsoft games, which is strange, I ask this because the variables can be many, from video drivers, controllers on the PC, and the control itself.

I checked and updated but the controller still provides constant up or down input. It also does it when connected to the xbox one console. I guess there is something wrong with the controller itself.
