    Xbox Elite 2 repair


    My Xbox Elite series 2 controller is less than a year old and the left thumbstick has started suffering from a severe case of drifting. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a controller that costs nearly two hundred dollars should develop a defect
    that quickly. It isn't under warranty anymore, of course, so I would like to know if I could send it in to get repaired. The support system just points me to buy a new one, which I'd rather not do.

    I     tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

    Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

    Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

    I have 2 elite series 2, my rubber knobs on the hair trigger locks came off too.

    And My 'A' button is very bad..

    I would get in contact with UPS, the package could be stuck in transit somewhere, also with the corona virus pandemic going around, there could be problems with the speed of the mail system, I'd also put in a support ticket to Microsoft just to make sure
    something just isn't reporting properly
