    Contact Microsoft hopefully your controller still under warranty.

    1. Go to the Xbox Contact us page.
    2. Select Contact us, and in the Contact us window, follow the instructions you see.

    Note If you see something under Fastest option in the Last stepwindow, try that option first because it's your best bet to solve your problem fast. If a contact option is not available in the Last
    step     window after you fill out all the information, you can't contact Xbox Support that way for that issue.

    They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help
