    Hi,

    Just received my Elite 2.
    I plugged it on PC, it says "upgrage needed", ok, i accept the upgrade.
    Then it says "Unfortunately this app doesn't currently support your controller's new firmware on PC"
    And i can't configure it at all...

    I searched the web about it, i found some 2 year old post saying you can reset the firmware of the controller using an Xbox... but i have no Xbox, i only play on PC.

    Is there still not any fix for this problem ???

    THis is not a isolated case. My elite 2 paddles also stopped working after a firmware update. I am on PC with Windows 11, don't have an xbox to revert the firmware. What must we do?

    There was a new update released, can you try updating your Elite Series 2 controller again?

    I also have the Elite Series 2 controller and I do not run into these issues when using it with the PC.

    Please, I work in Silicon Valley, I am aware of reading manuals and troubleshooting guides trust me.

    What was concerning was that the user reviews mentioned from years ago that the Xbox Accessories PC app did not support the $160 Series 2 Elite controller.

    However, Microsoft’s only support for SW/FW updates is through the Xbox Accessories app. Since it does not work, this gap needs to be filed and handled with an update to the Microsoft Store app “Xbox Accessories”.

    I have tried cable combinations, power cycling, and reinstalling Xbox Accessories.

    xbox elite controller 2, Microsoft Xbox One Wireless Adapter (this big one, not the tiny flashdrive sized one). and PC. or are you asking specs to the PC?

    Hi Neecko92,

    Seems like the only workaround now is to connect your Elite controller to a Xbox One console, and update your Elite controller via the Xbox One console. Then it will work on your PC again.
