xbox elite 2 controller won't reconnect to pc after charging

Verified that this issue is still occurring after updating elite controller. to be clear this issue doesn't occur on the regular xbox one controller like the one that comes with the scorpio edition one x and some of the model s xboxes. If the controller happens to disconnect while in a game due to inactivity or anything else you will have to exit your match, open bluetooth, remove the bluetooth device and add it again. I noticed that the thread that reported this issue back in Jan 2020 was locked even though there has been no update.

Is it true regarding the xbox elite series 2 being halted in terms of manufacturing and dispatching due to Microsoft performing a hardware revision due to the amount of errors and problems occurring for users
and owners of this controller

When will all these problems such as stick drift and buttons not work after a month or 2 be resolved and when will the next model be released that isnt a beta

I purchased my Elite Series 2 specifically for the Bluetooth connectivity to my PC since I've got an xbox One X and have moved over primarily to PC Gaming...I wanted to connect wirelessly to my PC and it connects just fine. But when I start playing a game
it FREQUENTLY disconnects repeatedly and reconnects until one time it just won't reconnect in the middle of the game so I'm FORCED to play purely wired if I want stability with the $180 controller. I've already got EVERYTHING up to date in my PC and I literally
mean everything. The controller firmware is updated as well.

I've also already been through a warranty exchange once.

I u understand that the Series X controller will be using a USB C connector to charge the battery (same as the Elite 2 controller), so charging stations that use micro USB won't work.

Having similar Issues. My Elite series 2 controller works fine for about an hour or so, then will disconnect. Half the time it will auto reconnect after 2 or 3 seconds, the other half it will not reconnect at all and I have to manually turn off the controller
and turn it back on for it to reconnect. Each time it does disconnect the frame rate of the game plummets for a few seconds. Then after some time passes, roughly an hour give or take, the issue will repeat for the entire gaming session.

My windows 10 is up to date as of this posting at build 1909 and my Elite series 2 controller is updated as well.

The support article for troubleshooting bluetooth issues on windows 10 does not help with the issue.

I have never connected the Elite series 2 controller to my Xbox One S, I bought it solely for PC gaming.

Forgot to mention, I am connecting via bluetooth. I do not have a wireless adapter nor do I want to connect using a usb cable.

I just got in an Elite Series 2 controller with the same issue. it is not removed from the devices list but still does not reconnect to bluetooth when disconnected from USB (charging/accessory app). The status light (xbox home button) just flashes slowly. It continues to do this until it shuts off or I delete and pair the controller again.

side note: elite controller is fully updated
