    So I after 4 months of using my new controller I was experiencing that the right bumper was not registering the commands, I tried so many things specially getting the warranty validate but I was already too late, ONE month late so no warranty for me. Then
    I had to fix it myself, but I had to sacrifice one of my regular controller. I found out that inside there is a square switch one for the Left and one for the Right bumper, it was not registering at the press of the bumper. The solution is to desolder the
    switch from the blue board ( by the way you will have to open the controller all the way ) and replace it with a new one. Both from the regular xbox one and any elite are the same. Link at the button of how the switch looks like. I was able to fix it and the
    warranty was already done so why care. In the process I earned that knowledge that not even the big Microsoft engineers were able to come up with a better mechanism for the bumpers. They are the same across all controllers.

    Gears of war 4 is coming, and now.. So am I.

    i've had 2 - horrible, Right bumper and left bumper went off. Now they have no more replacements for GoW4 LE Elite Controllers. Absolutely horrible that such a pricey product is made with such low quality.

    I bought 2 Elite and both left bumpers broke about 6 months into owning them...Really hope they make a better controller. $300 and now i have 2 broken controllers. What a joke!

    Elite series 2 - bumpers double clicking

    Yeah im on my 2nd elite 2 controller.. first one started getting bad left stick drift after about a month.. sent it in, waited, got back a refurbished one, it was great for about a month and then bad right bumper double click. I love the customization options
    and profiles but such widespread defects make this thing NOT worth buying at all.

    If I send in my Xbox elite 2 to Microsoft can they fix the right bumper problem. I have already sent one Xbox elite 2 in and had the right bumper fixed and it lasted 2 weeks before having the same problem.
