Xbox Elite 2 Controller keeps disconnecting bluetooth

Brand new Xbox Elite 2 Controller keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes when i play Gears 5 or any other FPS game via Xbox Gamepass on PC.

Yes, drivers updated on controller and PC bluetooth.

Yes, Windows 10 updated.

Yes, i have brand new high end PC. Just bought it month ago.

Yes, all other games working fine.

Yes, Playstation DS4 & Switch controllers working flawlessly.

No, i don't have any other bluetooth devices connected.

Yes, controller working fine via cable.

Yes, i have tried everything and i did my research.

Please Microsoft, just update this thing or maybe just acknowledge that this expensive controllers are broken, because it seems every second customer have this very same problems with controller on the internets, on Reddit, even here is tons of the same
closed threads about this issue.

This is awful customer experience.

PS Also this controller is not working with iOS 13 devices. Useless peace of nothing. Wasted money.

Elite 2 controllers don't have a replaceable battery.

I do agree with registering the device.

Although if it's new bring it back to the store for an exchange until you get a working controller. I've had no issues with mine and it's an amazing device but I can understand the frustration if your device isn't working.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues. It sounds like you've done some great troubleshooting also 😟

Just a couple of questions:

Have you tried some brand new batteries instead of the rechargeable battery? In some cases this has fixed other users issues
Have you considered registering your controller
here so that you can then get official Microsoft support and potential get a warranty claim?

the elite controller series 2 has Bluetooth compatibility and is therefore compatible with windows 10 too. the first release of the elite controller was before xbox was integrated into windows 10, therefore there was no need at the time for Bluetooth.

My elite 2 when connected to PC via bluetooth loses connection and I am also experiencing sudden frame rate drops which I do not see when playing it with wired or keyboard or mouse. I did not had any issues with Elite 1 which connected via a usb
dongle. I updated the controller and the bluetooth feature is broken. Anyone got it to work on PC via bluetooth without any issues?

exactly the same issue here, have no problem with using my xbox one s controller on PC, but lots of disconnections and frame rate drops with elite 2
