When I launch xbox accessories,

I get the error message "There is a problem with our connection to the controller, Disconnect" 0x800708CA

I can test it and the app still knows which button i am hitting, controller works fine in games.

Just cant configure any paddle binds? Which makes this purchase absolutely useless.

Most likely will be returning this hot garbage but first id like to see if Microsoft will comment on this...

THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE.... IM SEEING POSTS BACK IN 2019 IN REGARDS TO THIS.

好，我已经解决问题。

方法 powershell中输入Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

等待重启即可

I have the same problem. I can use the conroller without the pedals, using USB, Bluetooth or the XBox-Dongle I purchased seperately. Configuration of via the App won't work. Error:

I really like the controller, but not being able to use the profiles sucks... Not so happy with the thing anymore.

Windows 10 is up to date, the Firmware of the controller updated with the app the first time I plugged it in, I event tried changing to login in with Microsoft account.

PAY ATTENTION

THE ISSUE : we* are unable to "CONFIGURE**" the controls of the Xbox Elite controller 2, using the XBOX accessories APP in Windows 10.

Even though the controller IS connected and working properly, even if the controller is physically wired to the system, when we try to configure the controller surfaces,
an error window pops up saying,

There is a problem with our connection to the controller

disconnect, error 0X800708CA

The controller does work, the controller IS connected to the machine. unfortunately we are unable to use the services that the extra surfaces on the controller provide. which is the reason for having purchased such an expensive
object in the first place.

IF YOU HAVE A CANNED RESPONSE TO THIS, I DO not WANT TO HEAR OR SEE IT, JUST DO YOUR JOB!!

I should add that the controller is connected via USB-C and that this error code has not been addressed in any similar topics which have all been closed.

I was away on business but I don't understand your instructions. This is on PC and I do not own other xbox controllers.
