    Xbox earphone socket on controller not working


    Hi,

    i have been trying to log a repair for my controller but this function is currently not working.

    i purchased a custom controller on the 18th november 2018 [Mod Removed - Personal Information] and the earphone socket is not working.

    i have tried the headset on another controller and i am getting sound. Also the LT button is sticking.

    I have managed to sort this. I had to register the xbox one first then the controller.

    The controller is on its way back for repair.

    I have had poor luck with the audio ports on the controllers as well. If the issue happens again when the controller is out of warranty, the headset adapters have been useful in fixing the problem without having to purchase a new controller.

    If you have an older controller then the Adaptor will allow you to use your apple earphones.

    If you have a new controller, you don't need the adaptor. They'll plug straight in.

    Apple's earphones are standard earphones with a standard jack.

    The earphones from your Sony Walkman from 1986 will work.
