XBOX- EA linking and game visibility

I recently purchased a XBOX Ultimate game pass. However for playing EA games, I logged into EA with XBOX. But after clicking install from XBOX app, error throws up (error and EA games also don't show up in the collection in EA App. I also confirmed linking by logging in and out of EA with XBOX. EA Account also shows active XBOX Ultimate game pass. Any solutions on this?

First, make sure that you can see the correct Xbox profile linked to your EA Account by signing in to this link: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/...

Once confirmed, install an EA Desktop App by checking this link: https://www.ea.com/ea-app-beta

With EA Play on Game Pass for PC, it is accessible on EA Desktop App.

Kindly try installing the game now on the link provided, after that, check if the game will be visible on the Xbox App.

I would like to clarify, is your son trying to link his Xbox profile to the EA account/EA Desktop App? If yes, kindly try the steps below:

On EA Desktop App go to the "Friends" tab and then go to "Import friends", from there you will see the Xbox Live icon, kindly click that and sign in using the Microsoft/Xbox profile credentials. By doing this he will be able to link the Xbox profile to EA Account.

Once done, make sure that it's visible here: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/...

I have exactly the same problem. I don't even know what EA account has been linked to my Xbox account. I can't even tell you if it's mine. I've been gaming online since the 90s and I suspect at some point EA have acquired a game title for which I have an account and it's been linked to my Xbox account.

EA tell me the account is "deleted" but won't remove the Xbox link. It's a ridiculous situation and I can't link Xbox to my real EA account while the current link exists. The link between Xbox and EA should be a 2-way agreement where it can be severed from either side. I've been on to EA reps for 5 hours. They really are awful.

As it stands I can't ever play EA games through Game Pass and I'm cancelling my membership until there is a better solution in place.
