    Xbox e100 error and update loop


    The week I was updating the Xbox and it got stuck after the restart during the update. I’ve tried restarting and it keeps saying e100 error and when the update does finish it just keeps making me do the same update over and over again. Can someone please
    help me with what to do? I would really appreciate it.

    Just to clarify; The update downloads and verifies but fails after the console restarts to do the applying stage. Is that correct?

    To resolve this problem, use the Xbox One startup error troubleshooter:

    1. Go to the
      Xbox One startup error troubleshooter      .
    2. Scroll down the screen and select E100.
    3. Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.

    If the console is enrolled in a Insiders preview, ignore steps 3 & 4 about OSU update, and goto step 5 if required if steps 1 and/or 2 doesn't resolve the issue.

    OK, this is the second time in two or three months that the system update causes the e100 error. The first two steps of the update are ok. When it reaches the third step it crashes and troubleshoot apppears with the e100 error. This is becoming annoying.
    Fix your updates. My console is not the only one with this issues due to a recent system update.
