Xbox DVR Problems and Power off Problem

    Hi

Can somebody please help I have 2 Issues which tbh Xbox online help has not been able to help with.

I have a Humax Freesat Freetime DVR which is compatible with the Xbox as it is being recognised and I am getting the One Guide. However every time I put my Xbox on. I get Cannot find a Signal. I have to unplug the power for the DVR at least 3 - 4 times before
I get it to work? Can anybody help or is experiencing the same problem?

My second issue is that the Xbox is not switching its self off after One Hour off in activity even though I am sure I have the settings correct?

Hope someone out there can help as these problems are becoming annoying

    Thank You

    :)

  2. July 2014 update broke Live TV for Cisco 8742HDC

I had the issue happen again. This time, I think I may have found a "workaround" to get it working again, without cold booting either the DVR or the XBox One.

To reiterate: the issue was that the signal [video and audio] from the DVR was blinking in and out.

    The Workaround:

I performed the following sequence of actions, with power settings set to Toggle DVR on/off (since that's all my DVR supports):

    - Start with DVR on and XBox One on, exhibiting the problem

    - Turn XBox One off normally (which toggles the DVR off)

    - Turn the DVR on (even though you cannot see/hear the content)

    - Turn XBox One on (which toggles the DVR off)

    - Turn DVR on

Once things handshake over HDMI, the problem is gone! (until it comes back, possibly by turning the XBox off normally, in which case I have to redo this workaround)

Any progress in getting this problem fixed?

    Pro-tips.
Problems with system? Power Cycle. Hold power button down till it turns off, unplug for a sec, and then turn it back on.
Controller problems? Yank the batter and put it back in.
    All your problems are solved.
    You are welcome.

  5. To your second question, I have this problem to, I think it has something to do with Kinect recognition as after the screen goes dim however if you walk in front it lights back up,

    0x8027025a error code

I am having the Same problem. with the same error code.

I agree with trilambdas that only a power cycle fixes the problem. Having to power cycle the Xbox to watch TV is not good. Please help!

I have Comcast Motorola cable dvr.

    This problem happens daily.

DVR- Xbox One record that won't record error 0x82323012

I had a problem that Xbox recorded nothing..

    What I just did was:

    1. Go to settings, uncheck dvr option.

    2. Simply turn off your xbox as always.

    3. Turn it on, go to settings, check dvr option to on.

    4. Turn it off and on back again.

    Worked for me (so far).
