    Xbox duplicated my Windows Account


    Hello!

    I recently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass through a redemption code for a free two month trial. Upon subscribing to Xbox Game Pass, I was told to make an equivalent Xbox account and clicked the option to create a joint account with my current Windows account. I have installed all of the necessary accompany apps (Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Console Companion) and although I am able to download and install games onto my PC the application won't let me open and/or run the game (there is a red button instead of green over the games). I receive an error code every time mentioning that I am not signed in correctly to the Microsoft Store, but when I check the store it shows that I am signed in with my current account. Additionally, I also can see on my Game Pass that the subscription is active. When I try to sign out or sign in with another account, it shows the same email as an option for a different user but it will not let me sign in (in a way it looks like my account duplicated itself). I have tried to trouble shoot every option available to me but I cannot get my Game Pass to recognize my account as being the valid subscriber.
