    Xbox Download Speed Halved by Glitch


    The time it takes to download a game on my Xbox has become incredibly slow. It displays the correct speed, and then the download speed disappears, and the progress ceases. After about ten seconds, the number reappears, and the progress of the download continues.
    The cycle repeats over and over, 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off. It has become quite annoying, and I don't know how to fix it. I've done all of the simple things, like forgetting the network and restarting the console, yet those obviously haven't worked. Please
    give a suggestion if you have one!

    Xbox One X internet speed cap

    Does the Xbox One X have a cap for internet speeds? I get 1gb down internet, so I typically get 450mbps on average on other devices. However, on my Xbox, I only get around 98mbps. I'm wondering if there is a cap.

    I do have a wired connection btw, tried it w/o wired and speed halved.

    Slow Downloads?

    How large is the game? That along with the download speed will determine the time required to download the game. However, you will probably not achieve the full 60Mbps download speed.

    You can speed the download up some by running wired instead of wireless and by not using your console while the download is running.

    An in game glitch

    I'm having the same problem. This only occurs if Kiara is shooting second on that hole. In order to avoid the glitch, you must either halve or lose the first hole. Extremely frustrating when trying to get the gold medal on this challenge.

    Yea, I've got the same problem. Also I seem to have had my turning speed cut in halve when looking down the sights. Somebody at about 30 ft can outrun my turn, and thats with a buttstock

    Yes but, me and my friends usually download the games together as we go halves on it and share it on each others xbox. He does not want Halo because he is not interested in it so I will pick up the disc.

    Isn't there only one secret achievement? well the one i know it's called, "FIFA for Life". You have to play 50 hours on the pitch and its worth 100 points. I haven't got it yet but i read somewhere that 50 hours is equivalent to 375 matches of 4min halves,
    300 matches of 5min halves, or 250 matches of 6min halves. Good luck.

    Sometimes it might be glitches that cause that to happen. The best way to fix them, is to restart the Xbox. And whenever the download speed is slow, it might just be the internet. It may take a few days for the internet to get better, because the network satellites might not be close to your area.
