Xbox Download Queue

I've been downloading a 100+ GB update on a game for the past 3 days. Last night I was doing as usual and downloading the update, which was now at 64GB. At one point, the Xbox turned off on it's own and I didn't properly pause the update before going to bed. When I woke up today to resume the update I found the download progress bar completely full. Apparently the Xbox stayed on and continued the update throughout the whole night. Now, the problem is that the update is 100% complete but the queue shows it as 243.19GB of 124.92GB. When I try to go into the game it says it is missing content. The only thing I think will fix it is to cancel the installation, but I am hesitant to do that because I am unsure of whether it will make me redo the whole update or not.

The game will not start downloading automatically unless you redeemed the code on your xvox. Go to your download queue. Have a look at this link

Hi there,

I’d recommend hard-restarting your console and force quitting your game, it you’re able to access it.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, you may have to cancel installation and try it again.

Don't you worry about the spelling, we can understand it well and if you needed to spell in your native language we can always translate your thread.

But, about your game downloads, you mentioned they stopped downloading then disappeared from your queue and appeared on your games list but you are still unable to launch them correct? Have you already attempted to

Uninstall then
Reinstall your games? If you still have not done this go ahead and give it a try and then try to launch them again.

Give it a try and let us know if this has helped.

At times if a patch goes wrong the game can get removed and you may need to download it again.
