xbox download dropping out since last xbox update!

Strange enough, I have been having some similar issues since the last update, my internet has always been fine, always receiving the speeds I should, and then since the latest update my Xbox will disconnect itself from Xbox Live for absolutely no reason,
my internet doesn't drop out either, it is very strange.

Ehm I restart The download last evening for the third time and now the question is....my xbox will keep the download up even if I'm not going to update the console? Is on instant on mode...so my doubt is, if the download ll going on whitout updating the
system, I'don't want to turn on the xbox till the download is finished for the fear of dropping percentage

It's signs your Gamertag Profile out of Xbox Live, until it Downloads & Applies the games update..

Anything connected to your profile, will drop out (ie. Party Chat) when downloading a game update etc..

Thanks for the update. Downloading a game in the background will definitely cause framerate to drop. When you have the drop is it constant and lasts a while, or does it only last a few seconds? Try out the slow performance solution given by Cadillac. Also
if you are wireless, a wired connection will be more stable when playing and downloading games at the same time.
