    Xbox don't let play online even having Xbox live gold


    In every game is the same, I have xboxlive gold since yesterday and all the online modes don't work

    I can't play online but I own XBL Gold

    I'm having problems playing online even though I own Xbox Live Gold.

    I used a 3 Month Xbox Live Membership card and it says my Xbox Live Membership expires 11/16/17 but it won't let me play online, I've tried power cycling and that didn't work.

    ive just bought xbox live gold membership online yet when i go to play online it wont let me and just says "xbox live free" even though ive just bought gold!! what is happening??

    Are you using a 14 day trial or a card for a month or more?

    Because the 14 day trial cards don't give you the full 'gold expirience'.

    If you have a subscription for a month or more, remove your profile from your console and redownload it again.

    Me too I renewed it 2 months ago and it will not let me play online and I even put in a Xbox live trial code and said ' you already have an Xbox live gold membership' and still would not let me play online???

    Do you have live gold?

    If you don't have access to xbox live you won't be able to play Minecraft online and get this message even if everything else required is fulfilled.

    You don't have XBOX Live Gold. You need an active XBOX Live Gold membership in order to play games online with others.

    You need Xbox Live Gold to play online. The majority of free-to-play games use online functionality.
    It's just not worth playing for Xbox Live just to play a Free To Play game. If they don't agree with this, then they might as well make the Free to play available only to Xbox Live Gold members only. Congratulations to Play Station for not being so greedy
    and just let people enjoy gaming.
