Xbox doesnt seem to boot

    Xbox doesnt seem to boot


    When I first went to turn it on, it came on fine and said it needed an update, but i couldn't select anything. So I restarted the console and it didn't seem to boot so I thought of just to do an offline update, but when I entered troubleshooting mode, the
    only thing I could select was "Continue" and couldn't move the selection to something else. I have no idea whether this is a console issue or controller so any help would be appreciated.

    Hi, sorry you are having issues. This sounds like a serious issue. It could be down to hardware failure. However its certainly worth trying to reset your console back to factory settings to see if that solves the issue. Don't forget you can reset and

    Follow these steps to reset your power supply unit:

    1. Unplug the cables from the console, wall outlet, and power supply itself.

    1. Wait 10 seconds.
      Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step lets the power supply reset. Make sure you unplug the power supply unit from both the wall and your Xbox One console.

    3. Check the light on the power supply.
    Is the LED on your power supply unit on, off, or blinking?

    Yes, but no video output, I mean, technically, shouldnt the console not boot up if the motherboard was damaged (or other components)? I mean, in a pc if some connections are faulty or broken it shouldnt boot at all or show an error code of some sort. the only thing possible left is the connection between the intake of the hdmi and the motherboard but it doesnt seem damaged at all, seems brand new
