Discus and support "Xbox doesn't record that" in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I've had a search around and can only see old threads but just wondering if I'm the only one with this problem or is it a known issue.     I've had a search around and can only see old threads but just wondering if I'm the only one with this problem or is it a known issue. When I say "Xbox record that" I get the pop up and notification to say game clip recorded, checked my game clips and
    there not there ? So tried recording a clip again and as the notification popped up to say game clip recorded I held the home button to open the notification and it said this clip was not published or deleted. Any ideas on how to fix this issue ? Thanks Viva

    "Xbox record that".....

    Has anyone tried recording any clips by using the voice feature?I was playing rivals, alone of course...,like most cant get any games to join in.

    Anywho i said "xbox record that".... it popped up in the corner that it heard me but nothing was there when i look in the upload studio/My clips section. its suppose to record the last 30 seconds when using the voice feature.
    i tried this on ryse & it works perfect, didnt know if anyone else has tried with rivals ?

    Xbox "Record That" Issue

    Lately I have been playing Battlefield 4 and have missed out on some epic gaming moments because the "Xbox Record That" function is only getting 1 second of game footage. This just started happening within the past 2 weeks. I had no issues prior to this.
    Is there any fix for this?

    Sorry to hear it. Can you try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down? See if that solves the problem for you.

    What are you trying to record? If you have it on the TV mode but say have your xbox 360 connected to it. It won't allow you to record anything because it thinks you are trying to record TV shows. Hope this helps! "Xbox doesn't record that" :D

    If you can, get the Smartglass app on your mobile device and link it to your Xbox.

    Then when playing, press the RECORD that button at the bottom of Smartglass. Does it record your footage when doing it that way?

    "XBOX record that" only recording 1 second clips??

    On Battlefield 4, "Xbox, Record That" isn't working, doesn't record anything, even though I get the notification that it does. And game dvr is only recording 1 second clips. Hope this gets fixed ASAP.

    Unfortunately, since Xbox doesn't record chats, they may not be able to penalize based just on your word. However, any messages sent are recorded.

    Just to clarify. You're trying to record the previously recorded video as you watch it ? Or are you saying that when you record it the alternate way it doesn't work ?

    @Cloud... No, "Record that" doesn't work on the HDMI in channel... I suppose so you can't record and upload movie/tv clips... Shame it doesn't recognise it's a 360 connected and allow it though.
