    Xbox doesn't record certain games.


    My Xbox has been recording and clipping every game besides one.. I can take screenshots but when I try recording it just says recording started and doesn't give me an option to end it just says start recording again. If I clip it it just doesn't do anything,
    no notification or nothing. Any way to fix this?

    Can I stop games from auto recording clips?

    That's what it's doing. If you disable this checkbox in the settings, there will be no more automatic recording, but you are still able to start recording by saying "Xbox record that!".

    There is no option to have it disabled only for certain games.

    When I first got my Xbox, the game DVR was flawless. Recording clips in PvZ, Bf4, and Titanfall. But lately the only time the DVR works is when im playing games offline, and it automatically records certain moments. But as soon as you go online or try to
    manually record a clip in any form, it just wont respond. Yelling "xbox record that," the dialog box pops up, but does not record any amount of time, nor does the 5min-30sec manual record works. The Game DVR is more frustrating then anything!

    why am i getting this now?

    The fix to the problem is that that certain game may not allow to be recorded or screenshotted at that time.

    Simple mistake.

    I can't play grand theft auto 5 story mode because it says I need xbox live to launch it

    The Rockstar Social Club records certain achievements in the game, even in the single player campaign (e.g. if you managed to achieve Gold in a certain mission).

    This requires an online connection.
