XBox doesn't power on

I'm experiencing some issues with my xbox. When I connect the power supply/cable to the power plug the orange light appears, but when I connect the cable to the xbox console the light suddenly becomes white and then it fades out until it turns off. During
this process, the xbox doesn't turns on in any moment.

Xbox 360 Not starting up!

Try plugging the Xbox into a new outlet, if it still doesn't work with another outlet then try to borrow a power supply (the xbox's brick) and plug that into another outlet. If that still doesn't work then you may need to buy another power supply. Remember
that power supplies from the original Xbox360 is not compatible with the Xbox slim.

my control doesn't power with batteries

I bought my xbox two months ago, and now it is not running on batteries, just plugged in to the USB cable, please somebody help me.

If you unplug the console for a min or two then it will reset itself most times. Here is some more detailed information for console not turning on

Thank you for the detailed information and I apologize for the trouble. While the controller is plugged in directly on your console please perform a powercycle by following the steps below:

"1. Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.

2. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on."

If that still didn't work, I apologize but we may need to get the controller repaired/replaced.
