Xbox doesnt allow the use of keyboard and mouse for fortnite

I was looking on youtube about the xbox one fortnite mouse and keyboard capability.. all the videos on the subject said PS4 AND XBOX ONE.. so i went and got myself a keyboard and mouse.. plugged it into my xbox went on fortnite and it didnt work.. so i went
and did more research and found out that it only works on ps4.. Yet they allow keyboard and mouse for minecraft a microsoft owned game.. Just want microsoft to allow the game to be able to use mouse and keyboard

Keyboard and mouse usage in games

I don’t understand why xbox can’t have keyboard and mouse available to them in games like fortnite, and PlayStation can. If anyone has the rights to use keyboard and mouse, it should be xbox, because xbox and pc is made by the same company. I feel that certain
games like fortnite deserve to be played with keyboard and mouse on xbox.

I highly disagree but I understand. Xbox PvP should be controller only. Mouse and keyboard is easier to aim accurately. I think if you want to play mouse and keyboard, you should play on PC. It's free there, too.

Yes, you can. Some games, like fortnite for example, even allows you to play using a Keyboard and mouse setup on Xbox.

What model of keyboard and mouse are you using?. There is of course a work in progress for both, I highly suggest using a wired Keyboard and mouse only at this current moment on fortnite.

Both are wired but mouse wont work on any game is my mouse broke???
