Xbox displaying not picture on monitor or another tv? please help

i am doing this on behalf of the owner of the xbox. the other day the owner was streaming gta and randomly after about 2 -3 hours of doing this the picture randomly just went on my monitor we thought it may have been the streaming equipment but after a
full investigation we have found that it may be the xbox, the xbox was tried in another tv with no picture still and different hdmi cables have been used, just wondering if there is a known fault with this as it is a xbox one x and he hasnt had it long or
if there is any advice that can be given if there is a was we can fix this. thanks

thats what i thought he might have to do i just wanted to see if there was anything else that could be done, thanks alot will pass on this info

The only other thing to try before considering a repair is trying what is called a Offline system update.

To use the Offline System Update, you'll need:

A Windows-based PC with an Internet connection and a USB port.
A USB flash drive with a minimum 4 GB of space formatted as NTFS.

Just follow the
Xbox One system update solution and select "I need to update my console offline" and then just follow all of the instructions.

If that does not help, then you will need to send it in for repair as mentioned above.

Thanks for your post! If the Xbox is having issues with displaying image try switching the HDMI cable for another and testing the picture with another TV/Monitor. Check out this article for more troubleshooting options:
