Xbox disconnects every hour.

Is it exactly an hour? Or is it variable? By how much?

It’s roughly every hour 58-62 minutes, but mostly every hour. e.g 14:03 - 15:03

It does it for me every minute. I'm about to quit on Microsoft.

Gangsta! Whats up? I am in the same area and use Brighthouse as well. I would suggest calling the local brighthouse center and see if they have any Motorola docsis modems available and invest in a nice wireless router for your home. The combined modem/router
equipment they give us isn't all that great to begin with. Don't let the call center tell you that they have to send a tech out. They keep equipment on site.

I've been having this same issue for months. I'd turn on my xbox and it would disconnect from Live within minutes, and would never stay connected for longer than an hour tops. I live in a house with 3 other people, all with xboxes, cell phones, laptops,
and MY xbox was the only one having an issue connecting to the itnernet. I tried router settings, port forwarding, DMZPlus, XBOX internet settings...I was to the point where I was about to get rid of my xbox because I thought it was broken and useless..

Finally one day I went to pop in a dvd (It's pretty much the only thing I could use my Xbox for lately) and noticed the Antenna on my wireless adapter were pointing out. I adjusted them to point "up". I've been connecting consistently and have only lost
a connection once in the past week! It sounds simple and stupid but I was amazed at how well this worked.

tldr; Try adjusting your wireless antenna on the XBox.
