    Xbox Disconnecting


    My Xbox One randomly disconnects every time I try to update or download absolutely anything! And when I run a network test it tells me that it can't get an IP address. I'm using a wired power line connection whilst this happens but if I switch to Wi-Fi it
    will carry on working like normal which makes me think that it's the power line connection that's doing it. But I use the power line connection every other time and it works perfectly and the only way to get it working again is by completely unplugging the
    Xbox and the power line adapter! Please help.

    I get disconnected while playing games about 75% of the time. I'm constantly getting disconnected and reconnected to Xbox live parties. I usually stay connected to Xbox live just disconnected to the games.

    If I'm at the dashboard I will still be disconnected to my Xbox live party but usually it automatically connects back.

    Further information: It is only the xbox that is disconnecting. My PC remains connected at all times (I never disconnect during games on the pc), Netflix on the television does not disconnect, nothing else other than the xboxs.

    Xbox 360 won't stay connected to live

    Disconnect your Xbox from wi-fi completely then disconnect power from wifi modem wait 1-2 min. then re-power. Once it's back up reconnect Xbox. Prior to disconnecting Xbox restore it's network settings to default.
