    my Xbox one s won't connect to the internet whilst my external hard drive is plugged in. Help

    My Xbox is having a panic attack

    Unplug your system from the wall and wait one minute then plug it back in the wall. If that doesnt work hold the power button down for 15 seconds until you see a green xbox screen. Report back here after trying these 2 steps.

    Do you have an external hardrive you are using? Or are you using 2 hardrives?

    Wont let me connect to xbox servers?

    I disconnected the external hardrive once the game was shifted to my console and have not plugged back in. when i restart I hold down my xbox controller button and press “restart console”. My headset and controller is still plugged into the USB if that is any help.

    Thanks for the replies. I have a WD external hardrive but I have tried using that with my Xbox and it did not even recognize it as being plugged in. ShoPastry, do you know if there is a way to make my WD hardrive compatible with xbox?

    Half my games just deleted themselves and I don't know why.

    I ended up fixing it by unplugging and plugging back in external hardrive. Thanks for the suggestions and replies.

    External hard drive not displaying all games on Series S

    They're online gamepass games I downloaded on my xbox one to my external hardrive. Some would be optimised, some are not. It's not an issue with running the games, the games just aren't showing on the external drive when plugged into the series s so I can't transfer or manage storage space effectively.
