Xbox Disc won't eject

Ok so I put my Halo 5 disc in my Xbox One around the end on July, and I went on holidays in August for 2-3 weeks and I left the disc in. All that time the Xbox One was unactive. When I came back, I realized my family had changed its placement for other matters.
Basically moved the Xbox One with the disc inside, but always unplugged. I went to put it on, and when I tried to eject the disc, it didn't eject it. The Xbox made the sound like there was no disc in. I looked it up and i reset it several times and tried the
paperclip trick. Nothing works. So I can't get it out. However I still can play it normally. Not only that, but I tried putting other disc and the Xbox accepted it rather than not letting it in, so I pulled of it before it went fully in, as I know that having
two discs in the Xbox is a terrible idea. But still nothing. I unplugged it, put the other disc in (it went in normally) and used the paperclip to eject it. But the Halo 5 disc was still inside. Now I really wonder HOW I can get it out. I know it's there because
I can play it just fine, but the Xbox doesn't react to the disc's existence. Did the disc vanish and the game turned digital or what's going on? If someone knows how to solve this, please tell me, cause I want to play other games besides Halo 5 and I'm not
buying them again in digital just for that.

Sorry to hear that you're running into trouble with your console. It sounds like from what you're describing that your Xbox 360 is malfunctioning. (If you're on Xbox One, the results are the same though.) The console will need a repair and you can find more

Disc won't eject?

First off, I apologize for my Gamertag and picture, it was several, several years ago and I'm too lazy to fix them.

Yesterday I was just minding my own business, playing Black Ops 2 and having fun and all that. I turn it off, go to bed, and do whatever until the next time I got on.

Today i ejected my Bo2, and put in my Fifa. Once i put in the Fifa, it was making this weird noise. I tried to eject and it wouldn't. Now I know about the "grinding" noise and it's not that. The noise is almost like the disk trying to eject but it physically
cannot. I turned off my Xbox, reset it, and everytime I turn it on now it makes that noise several times. When i hit the eject button, same noise. The game is in the console, but even my Xbox won't play it.

Now I also try to manually eject, and I tried for literally like an hour, numerous times with numerous different tools like a paperclip, bobby pin, and even an Allen Key and either I'm missing something or it doesn't work either. I put it in the hole and
push it but nothing works.

Now I probably will have to send it in, but I just want confirmation. I'll also probably have to send it in with my Fifa still in the console, and that would ruin the disc so I'd have to get another one. If anybody knows how to fix this, or even if I do
have to send it in, do you know how much would this cost me?

 

That is definitely and odd situation. You indicate you put a second disc in the console and it went in normally. It sounds like there is no disc in the console but as you can still play a disc based game is also confusing.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational see if you can eject a disc. If not then try playing HALO 5 and if that works again try using the paper clip to eject the disc.

No, still the same, everytime I press the eject button it makes that "Ding" sound from when it's empty. Tried the paperclip, nothing. I want to point out how sometimes when I start a game (disc or digital) it starts to make a heavy ventilation noise, although
the air that ventilates isn't hot. Might that have something to do, it's been happening since June, usually after a couple hours of playing.

honestly i may be wrong, but if i had to guess the disc is not inside. it seems more likely that someone was playing your xbox, ended up scratching or somehow ruining the disc, and then buying the game digitally so you didn't worry. i'm sure you probably
talked to your family about this, and i'm not trying to call either them or you liars, but this really is an unlikely situation. i would suggest checking your purchase history if possible, or the purchase history for anyone else who could have used your console.
i know i would definitely rule out any other possibility before sending my console in. it seems like you also would rather not have to resort to that, so i am just trying to think of any other ideas as to what could be causing this.

 

My family don't like to play Xbox much, nor can buy digitally a $60 game. We don't have credit card for my account, so we buy the "digital money" in the game store as a code sent to my e-mail, then I redeem it, and use the money to purchase whatever I want.
And no one at my family know neither my e-mail password to access the code or the procedure to redeem codes. And even if they did, we spent around almost a year saving money to get the game on release, so we don't have enough money to waste it on re-buying
a supposedly broken game. I just know one thing: From here to now on, all new games digital. That way I don't have to worry about things like this.

 

getting your console fixed would definitely be the right way to fix this issue.

 

Yeah, but it would still be very annoying to be 2-3 weeks without it since play it is basically what I do around 18-7 tbh..

 

my disc is stuck cant get it out with paper clip on my xbox one the system thinks there is no disc in the system when I see it on sitting on the bottom don't know where to get it fixed
