Xbox Disc Versions

I want to get Battlefield 2042 on disc and i still play on Xbox one. The xbox one version of the game says Xbox one and Sereis X on it and I will be geting a Series X in the next 5-7 months. So if i get the Xbox One version of the game and play it on it then when I get a Series X and put the disc in on that will it run 4K 60-120FPS or will it run like how it does on Xbox one?

Did you purchase the disc or digital version of the game? If it was the disc version, you have to insert the disc in the console and then download the game from Xbox Live. It will not show up in the ready to install if you own the disc version.

There will be two versions of the next Xbox, one cheaper version with no discs and the more powerful console with a disc drive.

First things first, stay away from that half baked thing until it gets to EA Play for free.

Second, that version "is playable" on series X, but to get the series X version (which has xbox360 graphics) you will need to pay more for it.

I have been fighting MS over a month to get this garbage refunded, don't be like me, keep your money warm for things that do are worth it.

If you want to have fun in Battlefield play BFV or BF1, plenty people atill playing (actually, like me, a lot went back from 2042) if you don't trust my word, take a tour in reddit sub for the game, even if mods are actively trying to remove all posts speaking bad about the game, there are so many they can't get them all and you will see what people think of this new EA DICE scam. Reddit mods are paid by EA to hide it but the game is so bad they can't.

Also, even MS banned me from posting on the forum since I don't shut up with this (I have now to use my 2nd game pass account), that's how good BF2042 is.

If you get the Xbox One version, it will run the Xbox One Version on the Series X. You won't get any optimisation on the game except you have the Series X|S version

Did you buy the digital version of the game or the disc?

If you have the digital version, yes, make sure you are logged into your Xbox with the same account that you purchased it with. You should see the game in your "Ready to Install" section of your Xbox, download the game from there.

For disc version, it should download as soon as you put the disc in, keep in mind that to play the disc version, the disc will have to be in the tray to play.
