Xbox dimming issue.

So recently my Xbox one controller is doing so weird ****. The Xbox button it self. Having owned an Xbox, Xbox 360 and an One. The Xbox button has always brought up the menu or if you're in a application bring back to the dashboard. You know, this **** it's
suppose to do. Well know my controller has had stroke or something. Instead of bringing back to my dashboard or bringing me to my left hand menu it's dimming my screen. Click the button once dims screen click it again undims the screen. To get back my menu
to choose an driffent application I have to restart the whole system to bring back to the dashboard.

Note: Holding down my Xbox button still brings up the option to turn off system or controller.

Screen auto-dimming after 10 minutes

Same issue as all the others. Please fix it !!!!!!!!!!!!! Fix the dimming, fix the dimming, fix the dimming, ok back to to watching HBO now with dimming !

 

Screen dimming during games

Hello, I am pointing out an issue with the screen dimming feature on Xbox One.

When trying to play Fibbage, a game which doesn't require controller input as it uses a browser to answer questions, the screen keeps dimming unless you fondle the controller to keep the console happy it knows you are there.

I believe there used to be an option to disable the dimming feature on Xbox 360, but of course there isn't one on the Xbox One.

 

Did you look under settings, the accessories and check to see if there is a controller update available?

Reset the console by holding the power button for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. turn it back on and try again. Let us know if this helps.
