Xbox *digital* game trade

hi, i recently bought gta 5 and dont really like it, all my friends are playing ark (survival evolved) so i was wondering can i swap gta 5 for ark? With anyone; any way?

No that is not possible with a digital purchase. However, if you only just purchased and have a small amount of play time you could try for a refund and to purchase ARK. Nothing I have ever heard of unfortunately. That is one of the reasons to pick up physical over digital games, you'll always be able to trade them if you don't care for them. That said, personally I buy digital because it saves a ton of space.

A digital trade program tho would be absolutely brilliant, you may want to reach out and make that suggestion you Microsoft!

 

Maybe in future it come to be possible, but only for same games, like trade Game standard edition for same game deluxe edition, its limited, but it work without flaws.

 

Currently, there isn't, however, you can ask one of your friends to gameshare with you. That way, you'll be able to play ARK.

 

another option would be to license transfer games from your acc and another person whom you trust with info.

Get any games they purchaded digitally that you didn't have could be added and same with yours to theirs

hey, Unfortunately game trades are not possible on a digitally purchased game and are likely never to e tradeable, You can try for a refund via the xbox website but refunds are not always accepted.

 

If you purchase the game in the last two weeks and have played it less than 2 hours you could request a refund. Otherwise there is not a way to swap digital games. Due to how complicated licensing and agreements can be I doubt this will ever be an option.

 

This is true getting refunds are quite easy with digital games on xbox and comes in handy if you've made a mistake in a purchase. just call 1-800-myxbox

 

Unfortunately you cannot exchange a purchased digital game. There are instances where you may be able to plead an extreme case with Microsoft Support but for the most part this cannot be done.

afaik there is no marketplace out there which supports this function

this would create a lot problems in terms of game sharing and so on..
