Xbox digital download card

I bought Call of duty Cold war the digital download card but I didnt know the code was on the receipt and I accidently threw it away. I went back to the store and got a copy of the receipt but it doesnt have the code the second time around, they cant do
anything about it and they cant refund the card. I need help either refunding or somehow getting the code please

You would have to talk to the store to see about a refund, but otherwise there's nothing else that can be done.

Like I said it makes it nicer for gifts. Wrapping a case with a digital download card for a specific game just makes nicer presentation then a plastic card with XX amount of Xbox Live money.

Amazon.com seems to be the only online retailer that sells Xbox Gift cards with "Online Game Code" digital download. No physical code has to be mailed.

But there are no retailers that sell digital codes in Canada.

This is why I preferred buying points on Xbox.com. Because it was 100% online. No physical cards.

There is no exchange program to switch a physical disc for a digital download. For digital downloads, you will need to purchase the game from the Xbox Store, although you could of course use money from a currency/gift card that can be bought at a physical
retailer like Gamestop.

Usually game additions to an Xbox purchase are delivered as a 25-digit download code on a code card included in the package box. If there is no code card inside and no sticker on the box I'd suggest to get back to your retailer.
