Xbox device missing from list of devices for family members in my microsoft account

I recently purchased an Xbox 360 E and successfully added it to my microsoft account. I have also successfully downloaded our Xbox Live accounts to the Xbox 360 E.. When I look at the list of devices on the microsoft account main page I see both of my Xboxes:
an Xbox One and now an Xbox 360 E. However, when I look at available devices under "family" the Xbox 360 E is not displayed there - just the Xbox One.

How do I add the Xbox 360 E as an available device under "family"? My son and I can both play games on the Xbox 360, but I assume that the Xbox 360 E is not subject to the screen time limits I have set for the Xbox One via the microsoft account since it
doesn't show up as a device under family.

    :)

Minecraft Bedrock Edition Family Share issue

    Hi righN,

Welcome to Microsoft Xbox Community Forum.

To clarify, have you already purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your account? If so, have you made sure that your girlfriend's device is also connected to your Microsoft account through the Microsoft Store app?

If you have already purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your account and your girlfriend's device is connected to your Microsoft account, then the issue may be related to the Family Sharing feature. Here are some possible causes and solutions:

    1. Your girlfriend's device may not be set as a shared device. To check this, go to your Microsoft account settings and make sure that her device is listed as a shared device. If it is not, you can add it by clicking on "Add a device" and following the prompts.

    2. Your girlfriend's account may not be set up as a family member. To check this, go to your Microsoft account settings and make sure that her account is listed as a family member. If it is not, you can add her by clicking on "Add a family member" and following the prompts.

    3. There may be a delay in the Family Sharing feature. Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the feature to fully activate. If you have recently added your girlfriend's device or account to your family, try waiting a day and then attempting to download Minecraft Bedrock Edition again.

I hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,
    Marrion

Xbox device not registering in family safety app

Hi so I am the family organiser on my Microsoft account and I have my sons account added as a member on Microsoft safety app. Under his account there should be 2 Xbox devices. A Xbox 1 and and a series x Xbox. Neither of the Xbox devices are showing up under his account on family safety even though he is signed into both with his account.

However if he just logs into his Microsoft 365 account both devices show up. They are just not showing up on Microsoft safety app or website

Manage devices used with your Microsoft account

Manage devices used with your Microsoft account
Applies to: Microsoft StoreMicrosoft accountWindows 10

    Add a device

    • You need to add a device to your Microsoft account before it's listed in your devices. Here's how you can add a device:
      • Sign in to your Microsoft account on an Xbox or PC.
      • Download an app or game from the Microsoft Store .
      • Go to account.microsoft.com/devices, select Don't see your device?, then follow the instructions.
      • On an iOS device: Download Microsoft Edge from the Apple App Store and sign in with your Microsoft account.
      • On an Android device: Download Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Launcher, or Your Phone Companion from the Google Play Store and sign in with your Microsoft account.
      • MacOS devices can't be added at this time.

    Rename a device

    • Change the default name of your device so you can quickly identify it in your Microsoft account. When you want to download an app or game to another device, you'll be able to find the device using its new name.
    • To rename a PC:
      • Select Start > Settings > System > About.
      • Select Rename this PC.
      • Enter a new name and select Next. You may be asked to sign in.
      • Select Restart now or Restart later.
    • To rename an Xbox:
      • Select Settings > System > Console info > Name.
      • Enter the new name and select Enter.
      • Restart your Xbox.

    Remove a device

    • Manage your device list
    • If you don't use a device but it still appears in your devices list, here's how to remove it:
      • Go to account.microsoft.com/devices, sign in, and find the device you want to remove.
      • Select Show details to see info for that device.
      • Under your device's name, select More actions > Remove.
      • Review your device details, select the check box, I'm ready to remove this device, then select Remove.
    • If you want to remove a device for a child in your family, have your child sign into account.microsoft.com/devices, then follow the same instructions.
    • Unlink a device from Microsoft Store
    • If you can't download from the Microsoft Store, you may have reached your device limit. Manage your limit by removing devices you don't use or no longer have access to. To unlink a device:
    • Once you unlink a device, it won't count towards your device limit. If you haven't reached the limit, and download an app or game on this device later, it will count towards your device limit again.

    Find or fix a device

If you sign into your Microsoft account, you can find a missing device, schedule a repair, get support for a device, and more.
