In this video Im going over a few opinions and also some hardware flaws\maulfunctions with the xbox one controller, stereo adapter and play and charge kit

I think not saying anything or offering suggestions is not good so here goes. This is from my point of view

Disappointed in the New Xbox One Controllers

I'm not sure which Halo5 controller you're referring to but looking at controller reviews you can see the port where the stereo adapter fits in

Also looking at the accessories page of it it says this in the features
